I am tired. I am really tired but I just wanted to drop a quick note here, about this great day.
Today was the first Informix Users meeting in Paris for years. The event was sponsored by VMark, and we had quite nice people speaking about Informix, like Aomar Bariz, Stuart Litel, Jacques Roy, Eric Delobelle and Alain Jourdain (sp?)... About 40-50 people showed us during the business presentations in the morning, and over 20 stayed for Jacques’ tech talk in the afternoon, while other people were gathering having business talks around…
Great day. We found a few volunteers to go on with a French users group, I am excited about following with them.
We had to leave early to catch a flight to Düsseldorf to attend the German Informix User Group conference, and meet with plenty of other friends and new friends.
I have some picture. I will catch up with them later.
I will catch up with San José later as well ;-).
