There are many legitimate reasons to attend the Information On Demand conferences (the latest one takes place Oct. 26 - 31 in Las Vegas). You can read those here. But one of the unexpected benefits of attending is the quality entertainment, from the comics who kick off the opening keynote to the concerts and party performers.
Let's hear from those who have attended in the past. Which entertainer stands out in your mind: Wayne Brady (2006)--whose lightning-fast wit made XML, EDM, and disaster recovery laugh-out-loud funny--or Dana Carvey (2007), who impressions are as hilarious as they were in his SNL days(remember his rendering of a phone call between the current U.S. president and his father?). In the musical realm, who got you dancing in the aisles: Gladys Knight or Donna Summer?
You can rate the draw-power of this year's crop in this poll. Use the comments below to share your opinion of past entertainers. I'm firmly in the Wayne Brady/Gladys Knight camp. Where do you stand?
