* Masala Beta Opens
Earlier this month, IBM announced the open beta of the next version of
DB2 Information Integrator software, codenamed Masala. With more than
100 new features focused on automation, faster access to relevant
corporate data, simplified application deployment, and integration
across an array of information assets, Masala can help companies speed
query results across federated data sources and reduce hand-coding
requirements.

you. The DB2 Everyplace beta initiative opened in April and continues
through July 2004. Beta participants will test new features, including
