* IBM Content Management Takes Three AIIM Awards IBM won two Best of Show awards and a Best Practices award at the AIIM 2005 conference held last month in Philadelphia. IBM Federated Records Management and IBM TotalStorage DR550 both earned Best of Show awards, while IBM and Wachovia won the Best Practices in the Banking and Financial Services award. Judged by a panel of industry analysts and consultants. The AIIM Association and Industry Awards recognize outstanding achievement and significant contribution to the industry by AIIM members and organizations.

* Information Management Veteran Named IBM Fellow IBM last month named five employees, including DB2's Yun Wang, as IBM Fellows, the company's most prestigious technical honor. Wang, who joins an elite group of 185 technology professionals selected over the past 42 years, is recognized for his sustained innovation and leadership in delivering advanced database technologies for the DB2 UDB portfolio over the past 20 years. IBM Fellows are given freedom and flexibility to pursue creative achievements and typically work on special projects or research initiatives that lead the company in new directions.
