Q and A

Asked and Answered

I have a good understanding of DB2 as an application programmer, but I'm not up on the latest with UDB. Can you suggest a good book that will bring me up to date?

Robert Catterall responds:

If you're interested in DB2 for mainframe servers, I recommend the IBM publication, An Introduction to DB2 for OS/390, which you can find on IBM's Web site: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/dsnith12/CCONTENTS

For DB2 UDB for Linux, Unix, and Windows, you can check out some of the titles recommended by DB2 Magazine: http://www.db2mag.com/bookstore/certification.shtml
